Leave skin glowing — inside and out — with this super-fine pearl powder. Sustainably cultivated in the lagoons of French Polynesia’s Tuamotu and Gambier archipelagos, the pure and precious pearls are a rarity.
Used as a finishing powder, the light-catching pearls brighten the complexion — without leaving a chalky white residue. But its powerful properties are best illuminated when used as an evening anti-aging treatment to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Rich in amino acids and protein, the loose powder nourishes the skin, and restores it to its most smooth, supple and moisturized state. Buffed onto the skin, the crushed pearls release their regenerating properties in order to improve firmness, strength and collagen production. Skin is better able to heal and retain water — revealing a more youthful complexion.
Why I love it
I love that it’s equal parts makeup and skincare. By day, the pearl powder gives your complexion a subtle and luminous finish — while removing excess oil so you glow instead of shine. By night, it smoothes and tones. I also love the delicate blending puff that comes with the vial. It dispenses just the right amount of powder — because I’d hate to waste a single speck of pearl.
How to use
As a finishing powder:
Tilt the vial upside down (with the velvet cotton puff covering the opened end) and dust a small amount of powder onto the puff. Gently buff over one cheek. Apply more powder onto the puff and repeat over the other cheek.
As an evening treatment:
Tilt the vial upside down (with the velvet cotton puff covering the opened end) and dust a small amount of powder onto the puff. Gently buff over the face. Repeat twice until powder is blended into skin. Spritz on ROSE WATER TONER. While skin is still damp, sweep a few drops of ORGANIC BARBARY FIG OIL onto the face. (Note: You may feel a mild tingling sensation.)
Wash puff weekly with mild shampoo and let air dry.
